The Tutorial Gap
Many beginners understand a video while it plays, then freeze in front of an empty editor. The missing skill is not another hour of theory—it is moving from a small idea to working code, through the first bug, and onto a public URL.
This workshop gives that whole loop a deadline, a guide, and a finish line you can see.
The Outcome
You will build a responsive project tracker with real browser interactions, then publish it using GitHub so it is accessible from a shareable link.
Start from guided HTML and CSS so the session stays focused on the JavaScript that makes the app work.
Capture input, update the page, manage simple state, and understand what each part of the code is doing.
Use the browser console and a repeatable troubleshooting loop instead of guessing until an error disappears.
Put the project on GitHub, publish it, and check the live version on both desktop and mobile.
Three Focused Hours
Short explanations, immediate application, and checkpoints that keep the room moving together.
Included With Your Place
Prepared files remove setup friction while leaving the important JavaScript work for you.
Revisit the explanations and rebuild at your own pace after the live workshop.
Use the same clear sequence on the next small project you want to publish.
Bring the error you see on screen and learn how an engineer narrows it down.

A Useful Next Step, Not a Dead End

Questions Before You Build
Yes. The session is designed around a first small JavaScript build. Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS is helpful, but the starter files keep the focus on understanding and applying the JavaScript.
You will have access to the workshop replay and provided resources for 30 days. Live attendance is recommended because it gives you real-time checkpoints and Q&A.
That is the session's finish line. The workshop includes a guided GitHub deployment and verification step. Individual completion still depends on arriving with the setup complete and following the build-along.
No. The workshop is a standalone purchase. If you later choose the October cohort by October 3, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the eligible $99 Cohort Tuition Credit can be applied once toward that separate enrollment.
A computer, modern browser, code editor, and free GitHub account are enough. Setup instructions are provided before the workshop; no paid coding-agent subscription is required.
